LED bulbs for energy-efficient lighting

LED bulbs are an energy-efficient choice for homes, offices, workspaces and other indoor areas. Compared with older lighting technologies, LED light bulbs use less energy and their long service life helps reduce the need for frequent replacement.

Ledvalgustid.ee offers LED bulbs with different power levels, luminous flux, colour temperatures, shapes and bases. When choosing the right bulb, consider the lamp base, required brightness and preferred light colour.

LED bulb types and bases

Common LED bulb bases include E27, E14, GU10, G9 and G4. Our range also includes dimmable LED bulbs, smart bulbs and models with different shapes and beam angles.

E27 LED bulbs are suitable for many ceiling, floor and table lamps and are one of the most common choices for general lighting.

E14 LED bulbs use a smaller base and are often used in table lamps, wall lights and decorative fixtures.

GU10 LED bulbs are suitable for spotlights and directional lighting, for example in kitchens, hallways and work areas.

G9 LED bulbs are compact light sources often used in smaller and decorative luminaires.

G4 LED bulbs are suitable for compact luminaires and are commonly used in furniture and decorative lighting.

How to choose the right LED bulb?

First check the lamp base. Then compare luminous flux in lumens, power, colour temperature and, where relevant, beam angle and dimming capability.

Colour temperature:

  • 2200–3000 K – warm light for living rooms, bedrooms and a cosy atmosphere
  • around 4000 K – neutral light for kitchens, offices and workspaces
  • 5000–6500 K – cooler light for garages, technical rooms and other work areas

When comparing brightness, pay attention mainly to luminous flux in lumens. The higher the lumen value, the more light the bulb produces.

Dimmable and smart LED bulbs

If you want to adjust brightness, choose a dimmable LED bulb and make sure the dimmer is compatible with LED lighting.

Depending on the model, smart bulbs can be controlled via an app or smart-home system and may allow adjustment of brightness, colour temperature or light colour.
